I wish I could charge less for shipping but Canada Post has high rates. These rates are actually LESS than what it really costs me to ship!

Destination Shipping Fee
US orders $1-$49 US$5.50
US orders $50-$99 US$6.50
US orders $100+ US$12
Xpresspost (incl. tracking) please see below
US orders - extra large Especially large orders may cost more; shipping to be determined on an individual basis
Canada: BC, AB, SK, MB US$10; Xpresspost service
Canada: all other provinces US$15; Xpresspost service
UK, Japan, Mexico* US$10
Europe (western)* US$11
Rest of World* US$12
* Large orders outside US/Can The above rates should cover you in most cases unless your order is high volume or high value, at which point I have to ship with delivery confirmation, which is around $50. You may opt to break your order into separate shipments to reduce shipping fees.

I pay part of your shipping!

Postage alone (i.e. not including packaging, their fuel surcharges, etc.) for a basic US shipment is CAD$7.80. With PayPal's exchange rate, the US dollar is currently worth less than the Canadian dollar. Combine those factors and, when you send me US$5.50 for shipping, it's not enough to cover my expenses. This means I lose a bit on each shipment but I'd rather do that than charge you even more.

Canadian shipping: as with US shipments, I am actually charging you less than what it really costs me to ship. I prefer to keep my rates reasonable but, when it comes to "small packets" (not letters), Canada Post charges more for shipping within Canada than to other countries. I know it's strange, but it's true — just ask your local post office. I use Xpresspost to ship within Canada because it includes insurance and tracking and is not much more than regular mail (plus, the delivery time is much faster).

I hope that helps explain my fees. Thanks!

When and how are the rings sent?

Your package goes in the mail either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day that payment is received (I tell you in your receipt). My customers usually receive their rings within 5 to 12 business days — even those who live outside of North America. Please allow more time if you live outside a major metropolitan area.

Items are shipped regular air mail. If you'd like insurance/tracking or faster delivery, read below.

How are the rings packed?

I use secure but no-frills packing to reduce waste and save you needless shipping costs. Rings are sent in small bubble mailers; the packets are quite small, so don't worry if you have only a tiny PO box. I don't include a printed invoice or note because I do everything via email — it saves paper and reduces waste!

Please note that all small packets shipped outside of Canada will bear a customs declaration including description and dollar value of the package contents.

Xpresspost - fast delivery & tracking

If you'd like faster delivery, you can opt for Xpresspost, which also comes with tracking. To major U.S. cities, the delivery time is normally 4-8 business days and the cost depends on your location (orders $150+ automatically ship with free Xpresspost upgrade). See the popup chart for the rate to your U.S. location.

Within Canada, all items are shipped Xpresspost, as the cost is not much more than regular post.

Express service to all other countries is via EMS, which is at least $50.
